Buttero is a real family company born in 1974 from Mauro Sani’s idea and strongly inspired by western style. The second generation - sons Luca, Massimiliano and Claudio Sani - have changed the line more fashionable still maintaining its original handcraft methods and utilising their artistic know-how. It’s a great pleasure to do business with a real family company and… especially with pretty handsome Italian men!
Originally the name Buttero indicated the cowboys that truly existed in southern Tuscany.
Buttero uses natural leather from Santa Croce’s famous tanneries which have always marked Buttero shoes with leather’s unmistakeable fragrance.
Buttero has own concept stores in Milan, Tokyo and Osaka.
